IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE USE OF ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS (E-DOC)

  • Procedures for the access, currency and use of E-DOC are outlined in the Freedom Airlines, Inc. General Operations Manual (Manual 410) and the General Procedures Manual (Manual 210).
  • Original signed copies of these E-DOC are retained on file, and can be located at, the Freedom Airlines, Inc. Technical Publications Department and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certificate Holding District Office (CHDO) for Freedom Airlines, Inc. (FDKA). To request a paper copy of any E-DOC, or to be placed on revision service for a paper copy of an E-DOC, please email #techpubs@mesa-air.com.
  • Any and all content printed from this site is only valid until the completion of the task or operational purpose for which it is printed. Once the task or operational purpose has been satisfied, the printed content must be destroyed as updates to the content herein can occur at any time and will be posted to this location as it becomes available.
  • Before using and E-DOC for a task or operational purpose, verify the current revision status of the manual against the Manual Currency List (MCL) available in the General Documents section of this site. The MCL is revised weekly and posted here. If an E-DOC is approved or accepted by the FAA after the MCL is printed, it may be posted to this site. If the effective date of the E-DOC posted here is more current than the date for the corresponding document listed on the MCL, the E-DOC will supersede the MCL, and any paper copies of the E-DOC, as long as it bears the approval and/or acceptance of the FAA on the List of Effective Pages (LOEP). For questions on manual currency, please email #techpubs@mesa-air.com.
  • Documents which appear on the Manual Currency List as “In Distribution” will appear on this site as soon as possible. Due to the volume of documents that may be in distribution at a particular time, this may take up to three business days.
  • Temporary Revisions to E-DOC are available on this site as a separate E-DOC; however, cross-references have been added to the main E-DOC to alert you as to when a particular page has been superseded by a Temporary Revision. It is the responsibility of those utilizing the E-DOC to verify any effective Temporary Revisions and review the content therein. When applicable, Bulletins corresponding to an E-DOC are available on this site as a separate E-DOC. It is the responsibility of those utilizing the E-DOC to verify any effective Bulletins and review the content therein. E-DOC records of Revisions, Bulletins and Temporary Revisions will be updated electronically only in E-DOC version of paper manuals.
  • If available, you can navigate through an E-DOC using bookmarks. You can view the bookmarks in the bookmark pane, which is to the left of the E-DOC. Click on the bookmarks tab. As you view the contents in the document pane, the bookmark associated with that content will be highlighted to help you easily identify where you are in the document. To hide the bookmark pane after opening, click once on the bookmark tab and it will close.
  • Acrobat® Reader® 3.0 or higher is required to view these files. If you do not have this program installed on your computer, please contact your IT department. Large E-DOC may take some time to load so please be patient and allow sufficient time.
